The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is arriving in India’s capital Delhi on Monday, January 19, where both countries will hold important discussions to further strengthen their strategic and economic relations.
The agenda for the talks includes trade and economic cooperation, energy security, defense and security ties, investment, and regional stability in the Middle East.
In addition, both countries share the common goal of increasing bilateral trade to $100 billion, while cooperation on projects such as India’s BRICS presidency in 2026 and the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor will also be advanced.
Although there is no likelihood of a major defense agreement during this visit, expectations are high for deepening defense cooperation.
