Switzerland’s Foreign Ministry has confirmed that the United States and Iran will sign a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday, June 19, at the Bürgenstock resort in the canton of Nidwalden.

The exclusive resort overlooking Lake Lucerne was chosen as the venue after joint proposals by Pakistani and Qatari mediators along with the US and Iran. Switzerland is acting as a neutral facilitator, providing diplomatic and logistical support for the high-level event.
