Ushna Shah terms Dr Maha’s death as murder

KARACHI: Leading actress of Pakistani drama industry Ushna Shah has termed the death of Dr Maha, who allegedly committed suicide in Karachi, as murder.

According to details, actress Ushna Shah wrote on social networking site Twitter using the hashtag Maha Shah that the bullet mark on the back of the head shows that Dr Maha did not commit suicide but it was a murder.

The actress wrote that it is not uncommon in Pakistan for a woman to be killed in the name of honor or in a domestic dispute and to be clothed in the cloak of suicide, in this  case there is no justification for the victim to get justice. Ushna Shah wrote that please do not allow this young girl to be included in this list.

It should be noted that the news of the death of fashion blogger Dr. Maha Shah was declared suicide. According to the initial report, she committed suicide by locking herself  in the washroom of her house.  However, the case took a new turn when it was revealed that Maha  was shot in the back of the head.

According to sources, Maha Shah, daughter of Gaddi Nasheen of Garoor Sharif, was buried in the local cemetery near Mirpur Khas.

It may be recalled that Dr Maha had allegedly committed suicide by shooting herself two days ago. Karachi police is investigating the matter and it is being speculated that important revelations in this regard will come to light soon.
