What ‘changes’ did PTI Govt bring since coming into power?

Lahore, 30th March: What changes have taken place in the two and a half years of the incumbent government that was made to bring revolution in Pakistan?

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Prime Minister Imran Khan came with the slogan of’ change’ and ‘revolution’ in the country, but sadly Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf failed to bring any relief to the people during its two and a half year rule.

However, shuffling of ministers and officials is being constantly observed.

When Imran Khan won the 2018 elections and became the Prime Minister, he formed the federal cabinet, but soon the faces in the cabinet changed.

Asad Umar, whom the Prime Minister used to be proud of before he came to power, resigned.

Fawad Chaudhry Ministry of Home Affairs was changed, later Home Minister was also changed.

Chairman Kashmir Committee was also changed. Similarly, ministers in Punjab were also changed in and this process is still going on.

Just recently, Hafeez Sheikh was removed from his post. Nadeem Babar was made to resign two days ago. Earlier, Dr. Zafar Mirza and Dr. Tania also resigned from their posts.

The evident changes in the PTI government are the changes in the ministries and officers.

In Punjab too, the IG and Chief Secretary have been changed not once or twice but many times, says senior analyst Farrukh Saleem.

According to reports, 5 Chairman FBR have been changed so far. 4 Chairmen of Board of Investment have also been changed.

4 Secretary Commerce got changed and 6 IG Punjab have been replaced.

Reports say that so far 4 Chief Secretary Punjab were changed.

Secretary of Higher Education has changed and 3 Federal Secretary of Finance got changed.

Chairman of SCCP has changed three times. Minister of Information and Minister of Food have been changed thrice.

3 Ministers of Industry have been changed and 1 times Punjab Irrigation Minister were changed.

4 Commissioner of Rawalpindi have been changed. 5 Secretary Interior have been changed.

Similarly, 6 Commissioner Lahore have changed so far. Commissioner Gujranwala have been replace 7 times.

Finance Minister and Petroleum Minister have been changed three times.

The citizens, however, did not get any relief. In these two and a half years of the PTI rule, inflation has increased by 200 percent, unemployment has become common, and the prices of essential commodities have sky-rocketed.

The crisis of sugar, flour and petrol have also surfaced during this rule, and those responsible for these crises were not punished in any way.

Despite the change of police officials by the government, the crime rate has increased, holding the previous governments responsible for everything.

Even after two and a half years of promising houses and jobs to the poor, no one has found a house so far. The houses of the poor have collapsed in the name of encroachment. Opposition members were jailed in the name of accountability, but not a single rupee has been recovered from them.
