Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Member of the National Assembly Ramesh Kumar Wankwani has made a major claim regarding an alleged deal involving Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

Speaking in an interview with a private television channel, Kumar claimed that a retired individual played an important role in facilitating a deal with the PTI founder.

Kumar said that after four to five meetings with Imran Khan, a cake was formally cut on August 14, claiming that a process of relief had already begun and that its results would become visible within a few days.

He further claimed that a new political model is in the making, with implementation expected between September 15 and November 15. According to Kumar, all major stakeholders, including the PTI founder, are on board with the proposed arrangement.

The PPP leader also warned that anyone obstructing the new model could be removed from the political setup. He claimed that if the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) creates hurdles or “makes the wrong move,” a new political setup could emerge.

Kumar did not publicly identify the retired individual he claimed had played a key role in the alleged negotiations.
