Yasir Nawaz and Nida share useful tips regarding COVID-19

Lahore, 22nd June: Pakistan showbiz industry’s well-known couple Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz who recently recovered from COVID-19 have shared useful tips regarding the disease.

According to Baaghi TV, Pakistan’s morning show host Nida Yasir and her husband Yasir Nawaz in a program described their journey from being affected to their recovery from the coronavirus and shared useful tips with their fans.

Nida Yasir, along with her husband and their daughter contracted the disease and after the isolation of 14 days, recovered from it. They were very particular about their diet and took precautionary measures.

Nida Yasir, through her morning show, ‘Good Morning Pakistan’ has raised awareness on how to battle the deadly disease.

1. No Dieting

Nida and Yasir said that first of all, get rid of the idea of dieting in your mind to avoid any disease, it is very important to have a strong immune system. They said that in the last 2 to 3 years, we both lost weight and removed rice and wheat from our diet, which weakened our immune system and made us more susceptible to the virus.

2. Make Your Spiritual Connection Strong

Yasir Nawaz said that he listened to the recitation of Surah-Ar-Rahman during isolation. He told that he had downloaded Surah-Ar-Rahman on his mobile phone and listened to the recitation daily. It had a positive effect on his mind and body. Yasir Nawaz said that it is very beneficial to try to strengthen your relationship with your Creator.

3. Watch Something Light and Funny

Yasir Nawaz said try to keep yourself away from negative and weakening mental abilities. It is very important to stay calm in this disease, so keep yourself away from all kinds of negative thoughts and keep yourself away. To make you feel good, watch some comedy or light programs that will make you have a good time. Nida Yasir said that during self-isolation, she spent her time watching the Turkish series ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’.

4. Avoid Exercise If You Contract Virus

The couple shared that during the pandemic period, you must exercise to keep yourself and your immune system strong, but if you are infected with the virus, then stop all kinds of physical exertion, otherwise, all your strength will be consumed. He said that the doctor had also suggested them to rest completely and stop exercising.

5. Take Proteins and Fruits

The couple insisted on taking a proper diet to beat the virus. They stressed on eating seasonal fruits to help fight the disease and overcome the weakness caused by fever. Nida said that during this time she ate everything including eggs, pulses soup, and meat which contained protein and used mango in fruits.

6. Take Vitamins and Zinc

Nida and Yasir said that after being infected with the coronavirus, they also increased their intake of vitamins which contained high amounts of vitamins C, D, and zinc. They ate such foods with supplements. In addition to all the things that were useful to them, they also took Kalonji (black) seeds which are very beneficial for the immune system.

According to the couple, diet colors are very important, they gave importance to black, white, green foods during this time and also used fruits of 5 colors and consumed a spoonful of ginger every four hours. They suggested drinking only hot beverages while ill with the disease.

The star couple has also appealed to the people who have recovered from COVID-19 to donate their plasma, by setting an example themselves.
