According to reports, the noted filmmaker has launched a website for the religious minority of Pakistan, with the aim to allow them a platform where they can freely express themselves and share their experiences. The platform has been named ‘White in the Flag’ as a representation of the minorities.

According to reports, sharing pictures of minority places of worship on social networking website Instagram Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy stated, “Between forced conversions, abductions, terrorism at their places of worship, and target killings, Pakistan’s minorities face an uphill battle just to exist.” She added that with this platform she hopes to provide the minorities the right to exercise their voice, and to protect and promote their rights.

According to reports, White in the Flag is an interactive website that aims to serve as a platform for students, activists and legislators.
