Earlier, the Federal Ministry of Home Affairs had approved the call for troops on the letter of the Punjab government. The young men of the Pakistan Army will work with the district administration to implement the SOPs in five districts of Punjab, including Lahore, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala. Troops will be deployed where the rate of corona cases is high.
