Akshay Kumar hospitalized after testing positive for coronavirus
Lahore, 5th April: Bollywood action star Akshay Kumar has been admitted to a hospital after he tested positive for COVID-19.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Akshay Kumar has been hospitalized after he tested positive for novel coronavirus on Sunday.
The star who was self-isolating took to his social media account to share the news with his fans.

He thanked everyone for their warm wishes and prayers. He tweeted, “I am doing fine, but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalized. I hope to be back home soon. Take care.”
According to Baaghi TV’s earlier reports, Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter account on Sunday to announce that he had been infected with the virus.

He wrote, “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for Covid-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I am under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care.”
He added, “I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon!”
The ‘Hera Pheri’ actor was shooting for his upcoming film ‘Ram Setu’ along with co-stars, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nusrat Barucha when he fell ill and tested himself for the coronavirus.
It is also to be noted that among other Bollywood celebrities, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aamir Khan, besides the most recent cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also tested positive for COVID-19.
