Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi further said that the French President should not play with the feelings of Muslims otherwise they will face serious consequences. An OIC meeting should be convened immediately and practical steps should be taken instead of spending orally. The insulting sketch is a mockery of the Islamic world, the French president should not play with the feelings of Muslims. The French president’s statement provided an opportunity for extremists to play with the religious sentiments of Muslims. The Islamic world has to agree on one point.

Chaudhry Parvez Elahi further said that no religion including Islam should be ridiculed. The darkness of ignorance ended with the birth of Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.), the seal of the Prophets. The life of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) is a model of life for the whole world. Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) never ridiculed any religion in your life, those responsible for promoting Satanism spread religious hatred. Extremism will destroy world peace, humanitarian organizations must play their part. How can peace be maintained in the world by playing with the emotions of millions of Muslims, we demand that the blasphemous sketches be removed from social media immediately.

As reported earlier by Baaghi TV, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan has submitted a resolution in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly condemning blasphemous sketches in France. Denying the Holocaust is a crime in most of Europe, and yet insisting on allowing public display of insulting, blasphemous cartoons? President Alvi stressed such hypocritical laws must be changed.

Pakistan to take major decision on France’s anti-Islamic statement, FM Qureshi

Earlier, Pakistan strongly condemned the organized Islamophobia campaign in the name of freedom of expression. The Foreign Office said that Pakistan strongly condemns the insulting acts and desecration of the Holy Quran against the greatness of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) in some developed countries. We are further appalled by the disturbing statements made by some politicians, who, under the guise of freedom of expression, justify such heinous acts and link terrorism to Islam only for political gain.
