ANF recovers drugs, arrests accused in country-wide Operations
Islamabad (Baaghi TV): The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) is continuing its operations against drugs across the country. On the occasion, a large number of drugs were recovered during various operations.
According to a spokesperson of the ANF, during the joint operation of ANF and Islamabad Security Force (ASF) at Islamabad International Airport, a 2 kg 24 grams package of ice was recovered from the trolley bag of a passenger, a resident of Swabi who was going to Qatar. Meanwhile, 131 capsules filled with heroin were recovered from the stomach of another resident of Khyber Agency who was going to Dubai.

On the other hand, 30 capsules filled with heroin were recovered from the stomach of the accused who was going to Bangkok from Lahore International Airport, and the accused, a resident of Pakpattan, was arrested.
Apart from this, during the operation in Faisalabad, 4 kg 800 grams of opium was recovered from a car and 2 local residents were arrested. 25 kg of crystal heroin was recovered while conducting operations near Chagai.

In 2 different joint operations of ANF and FC in Khyber, a total of 43 kg of hashish was recovered from plastic bags and the drug smuggling attempt from Afghanistan through Balochistan was foiled.
ANF has registered cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act against the arrested accused and started the investigation.
