Lahore, 17th August: Afghan Central Bank chief Ajmal Ahmady has left Kabul, blaming former President Ashraf Ghani for the chaos created in the country.

According to reports, the chief of the Afghan Central Bank has also fled the country. Ajmal Ahmady, the head of Afghanistan’s central bank, has said that Ashraf Ghani is responsible for the crisis.

Ajmal Ahmady said that he could not forgive Ashraf Ghani for not planning a transfer of power. It is doubtful why the Afghan forces vacated the posts so quickly. There was definitely something that was hidden.

Ahmadi revealed that due to the deteriorating security situation on Friday, the shipment of dollars was not available. On Saturday, the central bank launched less currency in the market, which further increased the unrest.
According to reports from an international news website, as the Taliban advanced, Ahmadi said that the Afghan currency markets were in a panic, especially after the central bank was told on Friday that it would not receive any more dollars, causing the price of Afghanistan’s currency, the Afghani, to drop sharply.
In a Twitter thread on Monday, Ajmal Ahmady shared details of how he managed to flee from Afghanistan after Ashraf Ghani left the country on Sunday, following the insurgence of the Taliban in Kabul.
