According to the NCOC, the total number of deaths from corona in Pakistan has risen to 6,759. Meanwhile, the total number of Corona patients has reached 330,200.

According to the NCOC, the number of corona patients in Islamabad has risen to 19,300. 103,314 in Punjab, 144,449 in Sindh, 39,189 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,859 in Balochistan, 4,200 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 3,889 in Azad Kashmir.

According to the NCOC, Corona virus has so far killed 2,342 people in Punjab, 2,604 in Sindh, 1,271 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 214 in Islamabad, 149 in Balochistan, 92 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 87 in Azad Kashmir.

According to the NCOC, 30,814 corona patients have recovered in Pakistan, and the number of active cases is 11,627. There are facilities for corona patients in 735 hospitals in Pakistan and the number of ventilators for corona patients in hospitals is 1,920. There are 132 testing laboratories operating in the country and trace, test and quarantine strategies are working effectively in several cities.

As reported earlier by Baaghi TV, it was also stated in the recent NCOC meeting that the number of Corona victims and deaths is increasing across the country. All the Chief Secretaries have been directed to strictly implement the SOPs and it has been stated that strict action will be taken against the violators of the SOPs. Attention should be paid to high risk sectors like transport, markets, wedding halls, restaurants and public gatherings. The use of masks and social distance should be ensured. The administration should take immediate action on the violation of Corona SOPs.

It should be noted that the dangerous corona virus outbreak from China also spread in Pakistan. However, Pakistan gained some control in the first wave and all the departments were opened under proper implementation of SOPs. However, SOPs are constantly being ignored by the public due to which there is a risk of further spread of corona.

The NCOC has stressed that parents and teachers pay special attention to the following issues when sending their children to school. Send children to school wearing masks, even if it’s a cloth mask. If the child has a cough or symptoms of the disease, do not send them to school at all, if the condition is worse, the child should be tested immediately. The school should be informed in case of positive.
