COVID-19: Prince Charles recovers from the virus

London, 30th March: The Prince of Wales and second in throne to Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles has recovered from the coronavirus and is out of self-isolation after consulting his physician.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the 71-year-old Prince of Wales is out of self-isolation after being tested positive for the virus. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 on the 25th of March and went into quarantine along with his wife Camilla at their house in Scotland.

Prince Charles had shown mild symptoms of the disease and after the quarantine period of seven days, he felt healthy and is out of danger.

A statement said: ‘Clarence House has confirmed today that, having consulted with his doctor, The Prince of Wales is now out of self-isolation’.

Charles has spent the last week working from home on the Balmoral Estate in Scotland with wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, 72, who tested negative for the disease. As per reports it is still not confirmed as to how the Prince got infected with the virus, however, speculations are made. According to which Prince Charles met Prince Albert II of Monaco on the 10th of March at a Water Aid event. Prince Albert became the first royal family member to test positive for the virus of March 19.

The Prince of Wales last saw the Queen on the 12th of March, after his being tested positive the Queen 93, went into self-isolation with her husband Prince Philip 98 at Windsor Castle.

Yesterday it emerged that one of the Queen’s footmen has tested positive for coronavirus, sparking further fears for the monarch’s health. The Queen was also in contact with Boris Johnson earlier this month, who revealed he had Covid-19 on Friday. Buckingham Palace insists she is following guidelines and is in ‘good health’. (Metro)
