COVID-19 second wave continues, 45 deaths as increase in patients recorded

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the second wave of COVID-19 continues in Pakistan. While there have been 45 more deaths from corona, 3,045 new patients have emerged.

According to the NCOC, the number of deaths from corona in Pakistan has risen to 7,945. The number of confirmed cases of Corona in Pakistan has reached 392,356.

According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center, 3,045 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.117,898 in Punjab, 170,206 in Sindh, 46,604 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 17,046 in Balochistan, 4,619 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 29,427 in Islamabad and 6,556 in Azad Kashmir.

So far, 5,435,139 people have been tested across the country. 48,223 new tests were performed during the last 24 hours. So far, 337,553 patients have recovered while the condition of 2,172 patients is critical.

According to the NCOC, Corona is spreading to 15 cities across the country. Eighty percent of corona cases in Pakistan were reported from eleven major cities.

Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant for Health, said that the second wave of corona virus has gradually started in Pakistan. To deal with the second wave, SOPs will have to be strictly adhered to. By taking precautions we can deal with the second wave of corona.
