Islamabad (16th July, 2019): Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday, stated that PM Khan’s visit to the United States will serve the purpose of improving bilateral ties between the two countries.
According to Baaghi TV’s sources, FM Qureshi believes Prime Minister’s visit to America will prove beneficial in enhancing bilateral ties between the two states. Shah Mehmood Qureshi stated that the European Union has signed a strategic contract with Pakistan. He continued to mention that the PM’s visit will aid in establishing confidence between the states.
PM Qureshi added that Pakistan and US have experienced ups and downs however, US has maintained a significant role in Pakistan’s foreign policy. While addressing a ceremony on the Pak-US relations, he stated that to improve bilateral relations between the to states, we need positive and constructive dialogues.
Moreover, Foreign Office Spokesman Dr Mohammad Faisal on Wednesday, confirmed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to the US. He stated that “formal announcements” are made at an “appropriate time”.
