LHC issues important orders to NAB for Captain (r) Safdar

Lahore, 8th March: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has restricted the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from arresting former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law Captain (Retd) Safdar.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, LHC has restrained the NAB from arresting PML-N’s vice president Maryam Safdar’s husband Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar on Monday.
According to reports, a two-judge bench of the LHC, headed by Justice Sarfraz Dogar, issued a notice to the NAB to submit its response to a petition filed by the PML-N leader.
The court restrained the bureau from arresting him until March 29. As per reports, Capt Safdar has challenged the NAB’s call-up notice in assets beyond means case.
In a new notice to Captain (r) Mohammad Safdar, the anti-graft watchdog mentioned dozens of his alleged properties and sought his reply in this regard.
Sources have revealed that Captain (r) Safdar owns a flour mill near Sundar Industrial Estate and 200 Kanal land in Raiwind.
