According to reports, 60,162 tests were conducted yesterday, while the positivity rate is quoted to be 8.56%. The total number of deaths in Pakistan is reported to be 16,204 deaths while the number of affected people is 756,43.

In lieu of the rising number of cases and mortality rate, the NCOC has declared 26 districts to be high-risk areas.

The government has made implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) mandatory for the public. According to reports, strict action will be taken against any who violate the prescribed SOPs.
