Lahore, 24th July: A court has extended the physical remand of the accused Zahir Jaffar who brutally murdered Noor Mukadam, daughter of the ex-diplomat in Islamabad last week.
According to details, a local court in Islamabad has extended the physical remand of Zahir Jaffer for two days in Noor Mukadam’s murder case.
Murderer Zahir Jaffer was presented in the judicial magistrate’s court on Saturday after the completion of his three-day physical remand. Hence, after hearing arguments, the judge extended his remand for another two days and ordered that the accused should be produced in court again on Monday, July 26.
Duty Magistrate Sohaib Bilal Ranjha announced the verdict after the petition filed by the police for more physical remand of the accused.
Noor Mukadam murder case: Public demands justice
State prosecutor Sajid Cheema informed the court that the police have recovered the murder weapon pistol, iron punch, cigarette and blood sample from the murder site.
Prosecutor further said, “Still we have to recover the victim’s clothes and mobile phones of the accused and the victim.”
Senior lawyer Shah Khawar, representing the complainant said that it is necessary to recover the mobile phones of the victim and the accused.
Police find evidence in Noor Muqaddam murder case
Meanwhile, the post-mortem report of 27-year-old Noor Mukadam released on Friday revealed that she was beheaded after being murdered by Zahir Jaffer.
The report also revealed that Noor had assault marks on her body and was slaughtered afterward.
According to reports, Islamabad police have asked the interior ministry’s approval to place the name of the murderer Zahir Jaffer on the Exit Control List (ECL).
Noor Muqaddam Murder Case: What Actually Happened?
It may be recalled that on July 20, Noor Mukadam daughter of former Pakistani diplomat Shaukat Mukadam, was found murdered at a residence in Islamabad Sector F-7/4.
The victim’s father filed an FIR late on Tuesday against Jaffer, who was arrested from the murder site, under Section 302 (premeditated murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code,
