Thank you for taking the time to read my letter, Mr. Prime Minister. I am writing to you as a representative of the Billings Islamic Center, Montana. The state of Montana has the least amount of Pakistani’s compared to the rest of the US. According to the American Community Survey conducted in 2018, we are only fifty-three in number, however, my point is, even though we are the smallest Pakistani Community in the US, all of us have been greatly disturbed by the barbaric events of 20th July, 2021. All of us watched in horror as the details of the gruesome murder unfolded before our very eyes.

Our small community is very traumatized and deeply saddened to this day and it pains us to see The Respected, Mr. Shaukat Mukadam, running from one court to the other to get Justice for his daughter, Noor Mukadam.

Justice for Noor Mukadam – A Tragedy till date

This case has created shockwaves throughout the world but especially amongst the Pakistani Americans. The fact that one of the smallest Pakistani Community is keenly following the case and awaiting punishment for the accused should tell you the magnitude and furor the case has created.

Hence, my humble request to you is to expedite the court proceedings and ensure that all accused all given their due punishment. We also request you to ensure that Our Most Respected and Honorable Judges uphold themselves to the Oath of Truth and Fairness that they pledged on and were sworn in.

Last but not the least, we hope and pray that you stand in solidarity with the Mukadam family in their time of grief and we would like to let Mr. Mukadam know that all Pakistani’s in the fifty states of the US are behind him and will stand firmly with him until Justice is served.
