LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), and former Prime Minister, Imran Khan has left for Islamabad to appear before the court meanwhile, a heavy contingent of the Punjab police has reached Zaman Park, according to a Baaghi TV report. 

Police vans have reached Zaman Park as roads leading to the area have been closed off to traffic. Armored vehicles have also been placed in the area as more police force officials arrive at a road adjacent to Zaman Park stopping all forms of traffic with containers.

According to reports, the police will conduct an operation in Zaman Park today as they fear members of banned organizations are present in Zaman Park.

It is worth mentioning that Imran Khan left his Zaman Park residence this morning to reach Islamabad for a court appearance. A large number of PTI workers will also reach Islamabad alongside their Chairman.

On the other hand, PML-N leader and Federal Minister for Information, Maryam Aurangzeb said that political workers injured police officials and mocked the judicial system. Aurangzeb said the terrorist(s) who attacked the state got a bail bundle package. This is a message to the victims of the state that the foreign agent is above the constitution, the law, and the justice system.
