Pakistan Army Successfully Test-Fires Indigenous Fatah-4 Cruise Missile

The Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command has successfully conducted a training launch of the indigenously developed Fatah-4 Ground-Launched Cruise Missile.
The exercise was aimed at validating the missile’s subsystems and enhancing the operational readiness of troops. According to military sources, the test fully achieved its objectives, demonstrating the weapon’s advanced avionics and navigational capabilities.
The Fatah-4 is a key addition to Pakistan’s conventional deterrent. It has a range of 750 kilometers, cruises at approximately Mach 0.7, and features low-altitude, terrain-hugging flight to evade enemy air defenses. The missile carries a 330 kg warhead and is designed for high-precision strikes against long-range targets.
Senior officers of the Army Rocket Force Command, along with scientists and engineers from the development agency, witnessed the launch. The military described the test as a significant milestone in strengthening Pakistan’s indigenous long-range precision strike capabilities.
This successful firing reflects Pakistan’s continued focus on modernizing its missile inventory through domestic research and development. The Fatah-4 significantly bolsters the Army’s ability to engage distant targets with accuracy and survivability.
