According to a report by Baaghi TV, a video has surfaced after the blast at a madrassa in Peshawar.

As can be seen in the video, books are scattered in the madrassa after the blast. There are people who are trying to carefully handle the religious books. However, the books have been destroyed and only paper is visible in the room.

The blast took place near a madrassa in Dir Colony Kohat Road. The blast killed five people and injured 50 others. A state of emergency has been declared at Lady Reading Hospital and BDUK personnel have been called to the scene. According to police, the area has been cordoned off while the nature of the blast is being assessed.

Rescue 1122 rushed 5 more injured people to the hospital. Two children succumbed to their injuries. According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, 50 injured and 5 dead bodies of Dir Colony blast have been shifted to LRH. The injured are being given immediate medical aid. Hospital Director Muhammad Tariq Burki himself is in the emergency room along with the emergency team.
