PIA becomes first international airline to fly to Fujairah, UAE

November 25, 2021: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has become the first international airline to fly to Fujairah City, the capital of the emirate of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to the details, the first PIA flight carrying 168 passengers from Peshawar reached Fujairah today in the afternoon. At the airport, members of the Fujairah royal family and other high-ranking officials received the flight and the chief executive officer (CEO) of the national airline, Air Marshal Arshad Malik.

The national flag carrier of Pakistan has become the first international airline to start flight operations to Fujairah. These flights were started at the special request of Amir of Fujairah.

PIA operates special flight for Hindu pilgrims

On arrival of the flight and CEO Arshad Malik, a traditional welcome dance was performed at the airport. Immigration of all passengers was completed in 15 minutes under special arrangements for PIA flights.

Special buses have also been arranged for the passengers which will provide free access to other cities.
