Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) administration has begun expanding air operations to Saudi Arabia with 35 flights a week between the two countries.

According to the details, flights will be operated to Saudi cities: Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Al Qasim. Flights will depart from different cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Peshawar.

In some categories, some flights of the national flag carrier were being operated before this. The operation will be further expanded after the easing of sanctions on December 1, 2021.

After the complete resumption of flights, passengers departing from Saudi Arabia must comply with the five-day quarantine requirement, according to PIA spokesman.

The decision to increase the number of flights will be taken after the demand increases, said the PIA spokesperson.
