PM Imran Khan congratulates Christian community
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has congratulated the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas, which is being celebrated today.
According to reports, in his message released on the social networking website Twitter, the Prime Minister wrote: “I extend my heartfelt Christmas greetings to all our Christian citizens.”

Extending a special message on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that the celebration of Christmas teaches us a lesson of universal love, brotherhood, and tolerance which leads to the development of any society.

The Prime Minister said that the sincere and invaluable services of the Christian community in the fields of defense, education, health, and economic development of the country have always been commendable. As equal citizens of the state, the government will empower them to use their potential for national development.
The Prime Minister further said that our policies are designed to create harmony and consensus among people of all faiths. The government considers it its duty to take steps to integrate minorities into the national mainstream so that they can play their role as active citizens in the society, in a positive way, and help move the country on the path of development.
