Skywings announces closure of operations

Skywings Aviation Company has announced to close flight operations in Pakistan.

According to reports, another Pakistani aviation company has announced to stop its operation.

As per the sources have revealed, Sky Wings Aviation Director Imran Aslam has written a letter to Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed and Army Chief.

The director of Skywings Aviation wrote in the letter:

“If the CAA does not renew the license, it will close its business and operations from November 16. Annual license renewal is suspended.”

The letter said that even though Skywings had not applied for a license for two years, the government had claimed to facilitate the business but the CAA had thwarted it.

The letter also said that it had hinted at shutting down business from Pakistan and shifting the ship abroad due to non-renewal of Skywings’ license by November 15, a number of aviation companies in the past due to CAA officials. And the airlines were shut down.
