The transgender community, on behalf of the government, has come to the forefront with regards to legislation. Organizations working for the rights of transgenders called meeting at a local hotel, in which reportedly, four organizations participated. According to reports, they discussed and consulted on important issues concerning their community.

Regarding the legislation on transgender community, the consultative meeting was attended by Director Program Transgender Society Mahnoor, Executive Director Hope, Mani, Executive Director Rohi Khaleda, Neeli Rana, and others.

The meeting also focused on the issues faced by transgenders. After which, a strategy was prepared, which will be submitted to the relevant authorities for legislation.
