Pakistan Political Party (PPP) workers are threatening me, given details to cyber wing, claims Pakistan based American citizen, Cynthia D. Ritchie.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, well-known social media activist Cynthia Ritchie, has published a list of PPP activists and leaders in her tweet who have blackmailed and intimidated her.

Taking to Twitter, Ritchie wrote, “Final tweet for the night but these are the PPP workers who’ve been tasked by leadership to harass me, demanding my current location so they can rape me. These calls were witnessed by diplomats and will be part of evidence submitted to FIA.”

Ritchie claims that she has been receiving threats from PPP workers and is sharing screenshots of the threatening messages received via WhatsApp and Twitter.

Earlier, the PPP had filed a petition against Cynthia Richie, a foreign woman active on social media, in the cyber crime wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The petition was filed against Cynthia Richie for tweeting insulting and slanderous comments against the former Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto.

The complaint, filed by PPP Islamabad President and Advocate High Court Shakeel Abbasi, alleges that a woman known as Cynthia de Richie on Twitter shared information about Benazir Bhutto from her Twitter account, and made extremely insulting and pointless comments, on social media.

The petition states that her false, baseless, defamatory and slanderous tweets have caused great pain and suffering to Benazir Bhutto’s fans in Pakistan. He called on the FIA to take immediate legal action against Richie.

The issue began when Cynthia posted a comment on Twitter about viral videos of violence against actress Uzma Khan in Pakistan for the past 48 hours. She wrote that it reminded her of the stories of what Bibi (Benazir) used to do when her husband cheated on her. She claimed that Benazir used her guards to rape women “who had an alleged relationship with Zardari”.
