Chris Gayle shows support for PK after NZ team departure

West Indies all-rounder Chris Gayle spoke up in support of Pakistan after the New Zealand cricket team abruptly canceled their cricket tour.

Chris Gayle, known for his brilliant batting, shared a message on his Twitter which caused a wave of happiness among cricket fans, especially Pakistanis.

“I’m leaving for Pakistan tomorrow, who’s coming with me?” wrote the cricketor. Gayle’s statement has resulted in becoming a top trend on social media.

There has been no reaction from the Pakistan Cricket Board to the West Indies batsman’s statement, which shows that it is an expression of solidarity with the Pakistani team.

On the other hand, Pakistani players, as well as fans, also warmly welcomed Chris Gayle’s statement.

Former captain Mohammad Hafeez said, “You are the real champion, Pakistan loves you very much.”

Shadab Khan said that whenever he would come to Pakistan, he would be warmly welcomed. Fast bowler Mohammad Aamir said that he will meet him in Pakistan.

It is to be noted that the New Zealand cricket team ended its tour of Pakistan recently on account of some security issues.
