Coronavirus: Balochistan reports its first case

Quetta, 10th March: As per the reports of Baaghi TV, The first case of coronavirus has been reported in Balochistan Province in an 8-year-old boy.

According to the spokesperson of MS Fatima Jinnah General Hospital, an 8-year-old boy infected of coronavirus has been shifted to the hospital in Balochistan. The baby boy has been shifted to Quetta from Taftan yesterday.

The child infected with COVID-19 belongs to Dadu area of Sindh. Authorities have also quarantined the coronavirus infected boy and his parents, and their tests have also been completed. Fortunately, none of them had the virus confirmed.

Since the first case of coronavirus has been reported in Quetta, the total number of the coronavirus cases in Pakistan has increased to 19, of which 2 patients have recovered.

It has been reported that 19 cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the country, of which 15 have been confirmed in Karachi, 2 in Islamabad and one each from Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan.

Balochistan government had sealed its Taftan border with Iran after the widespread of COVID-19 in Iran, resulting in the death of 237 people and 7,161 have been infected in the country so far.
