Latest weather update
10th March 2020: As per the sources of Baaghi TV, Pakistan Meteorological Department has released its weather advisory on the 9th of March predicting the rainfall for the upper and central parts of the country.
According to the Punjab Disaster Management Department (PDMA), the strong westerly weather system is likely to enter Pakistan on Tuesday evening that will produce more rains for 2 to 3 days (Wednesday-Friday).
- Under the influence of this weather widespread rain/wind thunderstorm with snowfall on the hilly areas is expected in all districts of Punjab. A hail storm is also expected during these days.
- Heavy rain with thunderstorm is expected in Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad and Dera Ghazi Khan on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Heavy rainfall is expected to generate flash floods and may trigger landslides in the vulnerable areas and hill torrents in DG Khan from Wednesday night to Friday.
It is requested that all concerned may be informed to take necessary precautionary measures in vulnerable areas during the forecasted period to avoid any loss of life/damage to public or private property.
