COVID-19 continues to spread in Pakistan but the positivity rate has decreased, reported Baaghi TV.

According to the NCOC, the dangerous COVID-19 virus, initiated in China, managed to wreak havoc in Pakistan; however, in the fourth wave of the virus, we have started noticing a significant decline. In the last 24 hours, 46,231 corona tests have been conducted across the country. The rate of positive cases has been recorded at 4.10%.

Across the country, 81 people have died due to corona in the last 24 hours while 1,897 new cases have been reported.

The NCOC has recorded the total number of deaths due to coronavirus in Pakistan so far to be 27,327. While the total number of COVID-19 patients has risen to 1,227,905. 589,423,670 in Punjab, 143,488 in Islamabad, 32,772 in Balochistan, 33,821 in Azad Kashmir and 10,257 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The highest number of deaths due to COVID-19 was in Punjab, where 12,449 people lost their lives, while 7,289 people died in Sindh, 5,426 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 904 in Islamabad, 182 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 344 in Balochistan, and 733 in Azad Kashmir have been a victim to death due to corona positivity.
