Federal Minister Faisal Vawda had filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court seeking stay of the proceedings in the disqualification case at the last hearing. The federal minister’s lawyer filed a stay order on the court proceedings. The petition states that 4 similar petitions are pending in the Election Commission. The court is requested to stay the proceedings till the Election Commission decides on the petitions.
