Civil Aviation Medical Boards are constituted by Director General (DG) Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) at various locations to conduct medical examinations of pilots and flight crew members.
According to the sources of Baaghi TV, the aero medical centers of CAA are issuing CA43 medical certificates for Pakistani pilots without checking their medical reports.
This demonstrates the fraud and professional incompetence of the Civil Aviation Authority.
Baaghi TV has learnt from reliable sources that pilots have been submitting fake reports to the CAA by collecting blood and urine samples of their friends and servants.

Many questions are rising on the reports of Blood sugar, lipid profile and Exercise tolerance testing (ETT) tests as there are lots of overweight captains in all Pakistani airlines. CAA should start worrying about it’s aero medical center which is responsible for issuing fake CA43 medical certificate for Pakistani pilots.
What are these tests?
- A blood sugar test is a procedure that measures the amount of sugar, or glucose, in your blood which helps the doctor to diagnose diabetes.
- Lipid profile or lipid panel is a panel of blood tests that serves as an initial screening tool for abnormalities in lipids, such as cholesterol and triglycerides.
- ETT assesses the response of your heart to increased workload and demand for blood. It is one of the methods which is used to determine the presence of significant coronary heart disease.
It is worth-mentioning that CA43 medical certificate is mandatory for initial issue of particular class of licences and their subsequent renewals on appropriate formats.

Last week, the Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan disclosed that a large number of commercial pilots possessed ‘dubious licences’. He said that the country has 860 active pilots serving its domestic airlines, as well as some foreign carriers, and that 262 have fake licences and are not qualified to fly.
The government has decided to take strict action against all pilots who have been flying commercial jets without a licence.
