Lahore: Iqrar-ul-Hasan, host of popular crime series Sar-e-Aam, has siphoned off a donation of Rs 1 crore and a house made to a woman’s ailing daughter.

Reports suggest that a woman, Shahnaz Akhtar, has come forward who claims that, Iqrar-ul-Hassan, the producer of well-known program Sar-e-Aam, has siphoned off Rs. 1 crore and a house given to her ailing daughter. The woman, in her video, stated that her daughter, Yasmeen Maqbool, suddenly started vomiting blood in 2014 and after tests, discovered that she had an ulcer.

This case got known to Iqrar-ul-Hassan and the woman and her daughter, with people sympathizing with their plight, were taken off to Karachi for the girl’s treatment.

 

During this time, Iqrar-ul-Hassan has invited them to an event where Rs 1 crore was collected for the daughter’s treatment and along with a house donation. A lot of cash was given by a god-fearing man living in Australia, Mrs. Akhtar stated.

Reports suggest that to date, they have not received the money that was collected. They have been being harassed, according to the woman, and neither Iqrar-ul-Hassan nor any of his colleagues have paid heed to her. She states that Iqrar-ul-Hassan’s colleagues are co-conspiring with him in this crime.
