According to reports, security forces conducted an operation in North Waziristan and killed terrorist Ashrafullah alias Toofani.

According to  a statement issues by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an operation in the Boyya area of North Waziristan on a tip-off of terrorists in the region. According to ISPR, Ashrafullah was a resident of the area and had served as the dynamic leader of the banned, Tehreek-e-Talibaan.
