The DG ISPR also released a special video on the social networking site Twitter on the services of Pakistani troops in peacekeeping missions, making Pakistan the first country in the world to deploy women for peacekeeping.

Pakistan is the sixth country to send its personnel to international peacekeeping missions. Pakistan has been sending its personnel to UN peacekeeping missions for 18 years. 400 Pakistani women personnel are serving in peacekeeping missions. At present, Pakistan has 4,460 personnel deployed in 9 countries. Prior to deployment in the mission area, Pakistan Army soldiers are trained. Pakistan Army is the best army in the world.
