PIA management fights back against PALPA
Pakistan Air Line Pilots Association (PALPA) has reportedly been cut down in size by the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) management.
Reportedly, some of the pilots discussed amongst themselves to create issues for the government and the airline cancelling flights at the last minute. However, as per reports of Baaghi TV, the PIA management has played a genius master-stroke against them by bringing in new pilots.
COVID-19: ‘Baaghi’ PIA pilots putting lives at risk
PIA: PK-785 delayed as only three cabin crew arrived
It is to be noted, that the new recruits were reportedly flown in by C-130 of Pakistan Air Force (PAF). The C-130 plane was supposed to carry 13 pilots to Islamabad from Karachi, on Tuesday night, and also bring back the Pakistanis stranded abroad.
Can PALPA deny these facts?
Therefore, PALPA has effectively been cut to size and already there is a growing scathing criticism on the pilots.Furthermore, general public is demanding that their contracts and pay-scales must be revamped and cut as per the economic size of the government salaries in other departments.
All you need to know about PALPA
It is to be remembered that flight operation resumed, on Tuesday, after successful negotiations between PIA and PALPA. The flight operation remained suspended for three days over concerns about the safety of pilots, crew members and passengers in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. Yesterday, tensions eased between the two after Aviation Division secretary assured the stakeholders of full support.
Salam, PIA is our country’s pride & they are doing well in these times of epidemic as well but I urge them to bring back our citizens stranded in Arab countries as my parents are also in Dubai & in search of some way to get back home, Emirates cancelled their flight back to Karachi due to our Sindh Government’s decision of terminating all flights back to Karachi without any warning issue.
Not having your loved ones close in these times is too hard while not having your parents around is a lot harder to bear, I pray to ALLAH that all people stranded in any part of the world get to their loved ones as soon as possible. (AMEEN)
I am a regular international flyer.
Unfortunately I cannot agree that PIA are the countries pride. Far from it.They must be the worst airline around for ; Service, punctuality and the worst example of customer service you can imagine. My experiences have been a total lack of professionalism by airline office and on board staff bar cockpit crew.
PIA is an important player for Pakistan.
Some one needs to get a grip and sort it out. Otherwise it’s a laughing embarrassing stock
Salam Dino, I completely agree with you & I called PIA our country’s pride just because its our National airline as in the current situation PIA looks numb while its a wonderful opportunity for them to create trust & love among citizens & I still urge them to bring back all stranded Pakistanis in Arab countries as the ratio of infected ones is far less compared to European countries but still PIA flew in different parts of Europe specially England.
My parents went on tour to Dubai for the first time after my Father’s retirement for 10 days but its been more than 20 days now, our Embassy didn’t even reply them.
I’m missing my parents a lot but I can’t imagine how much they must be missing me, only parents knows the best.
Please pray for all stranded Pakistanis including my parents to come back home soon & quick.
