Political figures, including President Arif Ali and Prime Minister Imran Khan, have expressed their grief over the death of renowned comedian and actor Omar Sharif.
Expressing grief over the demise of Omar Sharif, the President said that the comedian had possessed a unique sense of humor. “He made his own unique place in the world of comedy, and may Allah Almighty bestow mercy on him and patience on his family,” the Prime Minister said.
In his statement, PM Imran Khan also said that Omar Sharif was a man of many talents and his services in the field of performing arts will always be remembered.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail have also expressed their grief over the death of Omar Sharif.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari said that Omar Sharif’s services to art are unforgettable.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his condolence statement said that the sun of satire and humor that made the weeping people laugh has set and that the comedian has given a new direction to the art of comedy in Pakistan.
