The visitors first wrapped up the West Indies innings early on the second morning after the Caribbean side resumed at 239-5 overnight. Pakistan claimed the remaining five wickets for 105 runs, restricting the hosts to 344.

Babar Azam complemented him with an assured innings of 86 not out from 126 balls, hitting 10 fours and one six. The Pakistan captain is now only 14 runs away from his 10th Test century.

Following the day’s play, Pakistan Cricket highlighted the team’s strong batting performance, stating that “Abdullah Shafique struck an unbeaten century and captain Babar Azam scored a fluent 86 not out as Pakistan closed day two on 266 for two.”
