Govt upgrades level of Chargé d’Affaires in Kabul to Ambassador

Pakistan has decided to upgrade the level of its Chargé d’Affaires in Kabul to the level of Ambassador.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in a post on social media platform X today.
Ishaq Dar expressed the confidence that it would further contribute towards enhanced engagement, deepen Pak-Afghan cooperation in economic, security, counter terrorism and trade areas and promote further exchanges between two fraternal countries.
He said Pakistan-Afghanistan relations are on a positive trajectory after his very productive visit to Kabul with Pakistan delegation on 19th of the last month.
