Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived at the Afghan presidential palace in Kabul. Prime Minister Imran Khan was received by Afghan President Ashraf Ghani. The Prime Minister introduced his delegation to the Afghan President. The Afghan President introduced the Prime Minister to his delegation.

A reception was held in honor of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the delegation. A guard of honor was presented to Prime Minister Imran Khan at the Presidential Palace. Prime Minister Imran Khan was greeted by troops of the Afghan Armed Forces. Anthems of both the countries were played at the beginning of the ceremony.

The Prime Minister and the delegation were received at Kabul Airport by Afghan Foreign Minister Muhammad Hanif Atmar.

During his visit to Afghanistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan will discuss the Afghan peace process and bilateral relations. The Prime Minister is paying a one-day visit at the invitation of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani. Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Afghanistan is of a very important nature. The Prime Minister’s visit to Afghanistan will help boost multilateral relations, the first visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Afghanistan since taking over as Prime Minister.
