COAS Bajwa visits Lahore Corps’ Headquarters

General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited Headquarters Lahore Corps today, according to a press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the ISPR, the Army Chief was briefed on various matters of the formation. Later, COAS interacted with Vice Chancellor’s (VC), faculty and students of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Forman Christian University (FCU), University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore School of Economics (LSE), Punjab University (PU) and Government College University (GCU).
COAS appreciated the role of these premier educational institutions in preparing the the future leadership and useful citizens and said that there is dire need of human development in the fields of education, health, infrastructure and environment.

General Bajwa also emphasised that the spreading misinformation not only effecting perception management but also threatening integrity of state. Furthermore, he stressed on the need to counter disinformation campaign and stay united in order to thwart designs of hostile forces.
Lieutenant (Lt.) General Muhammad Abdul Aziz, Commander Lahore Corps was also present during the session, according to the media and PR wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
