Lata Mangeshkar on ventilator once again
Mumbai: Legendary Bollywood singer Lata Mangeshkar has been shifted on a ventilator once again after her condition reportedly deteriorated.
According to Indian media, Asian News International (ANI), Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital Trust in Mumbai on January 11 last month due to Covid-19. She was later admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) ward after being diagnosed with pneumonia and remained on the ventilator for about 20 days. The singer’s condition improved a bit after being under the care of doctors, but now her condition has deteriorated again and she has been placed on a ventilator once again.
According to the Indian media, doctors termed Lata Mangeshkar’s condition as serious. Dr. Pratt Samdani of Breach Candy Hospital informed that the singer is still in ICU and will remain under the care of doctors.

Earlier, Lata Mangeshkar’s doctor had claimed that her condition had not improved. According to reports, the doctor said that we are praying for her recovery, following the policy of ‘wait and watch’. The doctor urged the public to pray for the legendary singer.
