Mubasher Lucman’s big announcement against ban on Tik Tok
Following the ban of Chinese social media platform TikTok, in Pakistan, senior investigative journalist, Mubasher Lucman makes a big announcement.
As reported earlier by Baaghi TV, the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) had banned China’s popular video-sharing app TikTok, stating that it had decided to block the mobile application on all networks, for failing to create an effective mechanism to block unethical content. Instructions were also issued to mobile phone companies in this regard.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, senior journalist Mubasher Lucman has announced his plans to take the matter to court. Lucman took to social networking website, Twitter to tweet the following: “I plan to go to court against the ban of #TIKTOK in #Pakistan.”

According to Baaghi TV’s own, Mehreen Saqib, “TikTok was becoming a fast trend in creating immoral substance by our youth. Easy fame was what they wanted and was fast achieving through TikTok. Rather than using the app for better purposes, it was lacking in creativity and what to talk of lack of decency in it.”

Moreover, Lucman is not the first who has reacted to the recent application ban. Earlier, Ahsan Iqbal of PMLN had also questioned the need to ban the video-sharing app. As reported by Baaghi TV, Ahsan Iqbal asked that Imran Khan’s government banned TikTok in Pakistan?
