PIA makes inaugural flight from Karachi to Zhob

May 18, 2021: In order to meet the demands of the business community, Pakistan International Airlines has launched an initiative in which PIA will make two weekly flights from Karachi to Zhob.

A small inaugural ceremony was held at Jinnah International Airporprt to mark the launch of this new route this morning. The first flight left Karachi for Zhob today, on Tuesday morning.

Photos of the the opening ceremony held at Jinnah International Airport Karachi before the departure of the flight and the cake cutting have been shared by the airline.

The passengers boarding the flight were bid farewell by PIA District Manager, Faisal Kharal, PIA Airport Manager Olympian Ahmed Alam and senior PIA officials. The passengers onboard the Zhob flight thanked CEO PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik and the airline management.

CEO PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik said the top priority of the airline is to provide the best service to passengers, and that with the launch of the flight, the zealous demand of Zhob and Karachi cities and the business community have been met. He also said PIA will operate 2 weekly Karachi-Zhob-Karachi flights every Tuesday and Friday.
