In a recent decree, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has reshuffled two ministers and several other senior officials within its administration.

These appointments include new figures in ministerial, deputy ministerial, and director-level positions.

The newly appointed officials are as follows:

Abdul Latif Mansoor – Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development

Mohammad Younus Akhundzada – Minister of Water and Energy

Abdul Haq Hamkar – Director General of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS)

Mohammad Younus Rashid – Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration, Ministry of Public Works

Abdul Bari Omar – Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Several political analysts have expressed varied opinions regarding these recent cabinet changes within the Islamic Emirate.

Political analyst Mohammad Zalmai Afghanyar stated: “Reshuffling is a principle in governance. I hope these new changes will turn weaknesses into strengths, as the Afghan people are looking for tangible work — regardless of who is in charge.”

Just a week ago, the Leader of the Islamic Emirate had issued another decree introducing new appointments within the Ministry of Interior.
