King Charles III Extends Warm Congratulations to Pakistan on National Day

His Majesty King Charles III has sent a heartfelt message of congratulations to President Asif Ali Zardari and the people of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day, underscoring the strong and enduring ties between the United Kingdom and Pakistan.

The King also drew attention to Pakistan’s rich natural heritage, from its high mountain valleys to the Indus Delta, and emphasized the shared global responsibility to protect the environment. He specifically praised ongoing bilateral efforts on climate action.

“I am truly heartened by the practical cooperation between the United Kingdom and Pakistan to build climate resilience and a greener future—from strengthening flood preparedness and water management to our new partnership to mobilise investment in clean energy and Nature,” King Charles wrote.
