UK Air Chief Marshal Sir Harv Smyth Arrives in India to Bolster Defence Cooperation

The United Kingdom’s Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sir Harv Smyth, has arrived in India for a high-level visit aimed at deepening military ties between the two nations.

According to a statement, the three-day engagement focuses on strengthening bilateral defence relations. Discussions are expected to cover emerging aerial threats, joint training opportunities, and broader strategic cooperation in an evolving Indo-Pacific security landscape.

The visit includes ceremonial elements such as laying a wreath at India’s National War Memorial, followed by key meetings with Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, Chief of the Indian Air Force, and interactions with other senior civil and military leaders.
